French 1950s green desk lamp by René Mathieu for Lunel. The lamp has a green metal Diablo double shade with star shaped perforations, supported on a curved brass stem.

Condition: The green enamel on the metal shade is in excellent condition, with minimal wear—remarkable for a lamp of this age. Some of the star-shaped perforations show slight inconsistencies, with two being less distinct. The brass stem shows marks and patina consistent with its age. The lamp has been professionally rewired with a black braided flex, three-pin UK plug and PAT tested.
